The Ducati Monster 2026 marks a new chapter for one of the most recognizable motorcycles ever built. What once started as a raw naked with a superbike heart has now evolved into a technologically refined all-rounder. The Monster 2026 stays true to its roots: simple, pure, and built around the rider. But thanks to the new 890 cc V2 engine, updated electronics, and ultra-low weight, it takes riding pleasure to a higher level.
At GeGShop.nl you’ll find the full range of accessories for the Ducati Monster 890 2026 and parts for the Monster 890 + 2026 – from high-end carbon to CNC-machined details. Because with this Monster, it’s not just about riding, but about refinement, character, and individuality.
Design: the legend in modern form
The design of the new Monster combines tradition and future. The recognizable 3-arch flyline and muscular tank still form the base, but with sharper lines and a new LED headlight that gives the front a modern, almost “robotic” face. The short tail with single seat and technopolymer subframe provide a clean, sporty look.

Perfect starting points for customization: with Ilmberger CarbonParts you replace the standard plastic panels with lightweight carbon in Ducati Performance finish. Combine that with billet details from CNC Racing – think clutch covers, handlebar weights, footpegs, and fuel caps – and your Monster gets a finish that even the factory envies.
Fortunately, the rear already calls for a short license plate holder, so you’ll find one in our range soon enough:

Engine: the new 890 cc V2 engine
The Monster 2026 introduces the newly developed 890 cc Ducati V2: 90° L-twin, liquid-cooled, with 4 valves per cylinder and Intake Variable Valve Timing. This smart system continuously adjusts the valve timing, so the engine responds smoothly at low revs and delivers aggressively at high revs. The result? 111 hp, 91.1 Nm, and a torque curve that delivers 70% of the maximum from 3,000 rpm.
The engine is also 4 kg lighter than that of the previous Monster 937 and at only 54 kg the lightest V2 engine Ducati has ever built. The maintenance intervals are exceptionally long: oil change every 15,000 km, valve clearance check only after 45,000 km. Euro 5+ approved, reliable, and built to ride.
And that naturally calls for an open clutch cover, so you can beautifully see the clutch spinning:

Riding characteristics: agile, stable, intuitive
Thanks to the aluminum monocoque frame and the Showa 43 mm USD front fork, the Monster 2026 feels light and predictable. The rear suspension features an adjustable Showa monoshock, and with only 175 kg wet weight, this is one of the lightest bikes in its class. Brembo M4.32 brakes with 320 mm discs and Cornering ABS provide confidence in all conditions.
Want to further refine the riding characteristics? Then LighTech offers adjustable levers, footpegs, and brake-shift sets for more control. And for those seeking the ultimate, BST carbon wheels are the ultimate upgrade – less unsprung weight, quicker steering, and a look that perfectly suits the Monster.
Electronics: technology with a human touch
The new Monster is equipped with a 6-axis IMU that controls the safety systems: Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, and Ducati Brake Light. Four Power Modes – High, Medium, City, and Low – make the bike accessible for every riding style. With the new Quick Shift 2.0, you can shift without the clutch, both up and down, and the updated 5” TFT screen offers two info modes: Road and Road Pro.
Want more luxury? Through the Ducati Performance accessory program, you can add options such as cruise control, heated grips, and the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS). Also available through our partners: Evotech Performance provides perfectly integrated mounts and protection for sensors and electronics, while CNC Racing offers billet switches and reservoir caps for a high-quality finish.
Sound and emotion: Italian craftsmanship
No Monster without sound. The dual 2-1-2 exhaust already sounds convincing, but those who really want to enjoy it choose a system from HP Corse or SC Project. These systems are lighter, more beautifully welded, and deliver a sound that perfectly matches the V2 character. Combine that with CNC Racing colored exhaust mounts and you have a finish that is perfect down to the details.
Ergonomics and comfort
The seat height of 815 mm can be lowered to 775 mm with an original low seat kit. Thanks to the narrow tank-seat connection, riders of almost any height can easily place both feet on the ground. The handlebar angle has been increased for better maneuvering in the city, while the slightly forward-positioned clip-ons offer a sporty yet natural seating position.
Monster 2026 SP – the top segment
The big missing factor is, of course, the Monster SP with Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, and lightweight wheels. It seems we’ll have to wait another year for that, or...?
For all versions, of course, our Monster accessories will be available, including carbon covers, billet parts, and performance exhausts.
