Overhaul Kits for Technical Repair of Motorcycle Parts
Repair a carburetor, brake caliper, or clutch master cylinder with parts precisely assembled for the specific system
Wear on seals, needles, jets, and other internal components can cause leaks, poor performance, or unreliable operation. With a suitable overhaul kit, you can replace the vulnerable parts without having to renew the entire component immediately.
- Overhaul kits for carburetors, brake calipers, and clutch master cylinders
- Model- and component-specific assembled parts
- Keyster carburetor parts of Japanese quality
- Original Brembo seals for compatible brake calipers
- CNC Racing repair kits for selected master cylinders
This collection includes technically diverse overhaul kits. A carburetor overhaul kit may contain gaskets, float needles, mixture screws, jets, and small sealing rings. A brake caliper overhaul kit consists of hydraulic seals, dust rings, and possibly new brake pistons.
Separate repair kits are available for hydraulic clutch master cylinders to replace worn internal seals. Always check the brand, type, and diameter of the existing master cylinder.
Carburetor Overhaul Kits
A carburetor can suffer from dried-out gaskets, leaking float needles, dirty jets, and stuck adjustment screws after years of inactivity or use. A complete overhaul kit contains the parts needed to carefully disassemble and rebuild the fuel section.
Check whether the kit is intended for one carburetor or for all carburetors on the engine. For a twin-cylinder, a complete kit may include two float chamber gaskets, two float needles, and multiple jets.
Brake Caliper Overhaul Kits
A brake caliper overhaul kit must fit exactly the caliper type, piston diameter, and width of the dust rings used. Within one Brembo brake caliper family, multiple internal versions may exist.
Use only suitable brake fluid and assembly products. Thoroughly clean the seal grooves and inspect the brake pistons for corrosion, pitting, and damage before installing new seals.
Clutch Master Cylinder Overhaul Kits
A hydraulic clutch master cylinder can leak or move less smoothly when internal seals are worn or contaminated. With a suitable overhaul kit, the existing housing can often be retained.
Carefully check whether the system uses DOT brake fluid or mineral hydraulic fluid. The seals are matched to the specified fluid type, and these fluids must not be mixed.
Professional and Clean Assembly
Overhaul work requires an exceptionally clean working environment. Small dirt particles can block jet channels or damage new hydraulic seals. Lay out parts in the correct order during disassembly and use clean, appropriate tools.
After assembly, check for leaks and proper operation. Brake calipers and other safety-critical hydraulic parts should be overhauled by a specialized workshop if you lack sufficient experience.
