A bellypan, also called an undertray or motorcycle spoiler, is located under or beside the engine. The part visually connects the front and rear of the motorcycle and can partially cover exposed mechanics, exhaust parts, and standard plastic panels. A carbon version gives this area a lighter and more exclusive look.
This collection includes short bellypans, longer undertrays, and closed Racing versions. Depending on the product, the bellypan replaces an original plastic part or is mounted as an additional fairing part under the engine.
Always check whether the bellypan is intended for a motorcycle in standard configuration, a specific exhaust, or a complete Racing fairing. The available space around the catalytic converter, linkpipe, and silencer can vary greatly.
A street-oriented bellypan is mainly chosen for its appearance and model-specific finish. The part usually leaves space around the original exhaust, Side Stands & Accessories, and maintenance points.
A Racing bellypan can extend further under the engine and be closed to partially contain fluids in case of leaks. Always check the organizer’s or race class’s requirements when using it on the track.
The bellypan is a relatively large and visible fairing part. Carbon immediately makes a difference in the motorcycle’s appearance. The part pairs nicely with a carbon front fender, rear fender, frame covers, and engine covers.
For Ducati models, the Ilmberger CarbonParts versions match the pattern and finish of Ducati Performance carbon. Preferably choose the same matte, glossy, or Black Diamond Carbon finish as the other parts.
Before ordering, check whether the bellypan is suitable for the original exhaust or a specific aftermarket system. A different catalytic converter, linkpipe, or silencer can change the available mounting space.
For adventure and touring motorcycles, also verify whether the bellypan can be combined with a center stand, engine guard, or crash bar.
Always loosely fit carbon parts at all mounting points before tightening the bolts definitively. Do not force the part toward a misaligned mounting point.
Ensure sufficient clearance from hot exhaust parts and moving components. Use prescribed heat shields if necessary and have a complete Racing setup installed by a specialist if in doubt.
