Loosen sand, road dirt, and insect residues before touching paint, carbon, and plastic with a wash mitt
Many micro-scratches and swirls occur because loose sand and road dirt are moved across the surface during washing. A good pre-wash helps remove as much contamination as possible before the contact wash begins. Snow foam creates a thick foam layer that encloses and loosens dirt.
In this collection, you will find, among others, Monello Artico Magico Snow Foam. This pH-neutral product is suitable for various surfaces, including normal and matte paint and suitable wrap films. It is available in a practical 1-liter packaging and a larger 5-liter container.
Additionally, there are scented foam shampoos from Chemical Guys and complete kits combining snow foam with a foam lance and wash mitt.
Snow foam is designed to loosen contamination and rinse off a large part of it contactlessly. A foam layer does not automatically replace a full hand wash for normal or heavier contamination.
After rinsing, the vehicle can be further washed with a pH-neutral shampoo, a clean wash mitt, and the two- or three-bucket method.
The required amount of product depends on the foam lance, water pressure, contamination, and desired foam layer. Different dilution ratios are used for Monello Artico Magico for light maintenance washes and heavier contamination.
Do not automatically use as much product as possible. An extremely thick foam layer does not necessarily clean better. The correct dwell time and full coverage are just as important.
Fill the foam lance reservoir according to the instructions and adjust the amount of product and the width of the spray. Apply the foam evenly over the vehicle and ensure that hard-to-reach areas are also covered.
Work carefully around open air intakes, electrical components, brake parts, and bearings. Do not direct the high-pressure spray from a short distance onto seals, connectors, or vulnerable parts.
Use snow foam on a cooled vehicle and preferably out of direct sunlight. Let the product work for a few minutes but prevent it from drying on the surface.
Then rinse the vehicle thoroughly. Clean the foam lance after use with clean water to prevent dried product from clogging the nozzle, suction hose, or internal filter.
