Exhaust System

Complete exhaust systems for sound, weight, and gas flow

Replace the exhaust from the cylinder heads or original headers with a model-specific complete system

A complete exhaust system replaces more parts than a slip-on. Depending on the design, the set consists of exhaust pipes, collector, linkpipe, muffler, and all necessary mounts. This allows material, weight, shape, and gas flow to be changed over a larger part of the exhaust.

  • Model-specific complete exhaust systems
  • Sets including pipes, collector, and muffler
  • Stainless steel and full Titanium constructions
  • Various muffler materials and GP designs
  • Handmade exhaust systems from G&G Bike

In this collection, you will find among others G&G Bike GP and GP Stealth systems. The exact construction varies per motorcycle. A system can be mounted from the cylinder heads or retain part of the original headers.

Difference between slip-on and complete system

A slip-on mainly replaces the muffler. A full exhaust system also replaces the pipes and collector and can therefore have a greater impact on weight, sound, and engine tuning.

Check whether the product really includes all headers or is technically a 3/4 system. The terms are not always used exactly the same way in the market.

Stainless steel or Titanium

Stainless steel is strong, heat-resistant, and suitable for durable street use. Titanium offers lower weight and a distinct technical finish with a properly designed system.

The muffler can also have a carbon, Titanium, or Stainless steel muffler sleeve. Check per product which materials are used for pipes, linkpipe, muffler sleeve, and endcap.

Catalyst and approval

Not every complete system retains a catalyst or has approval for use on public roads. Also, the presence of a dB Killer does not automatically mean the complete system meets all requirements.

Check the product-specific type approval, model years, and configuration. Racing systems may be limited to circuit or off-road use where permitted.

ECU tuning

A complete system can significantly change exhaust gas flow. Depending on the motorcycle and system, an ECU remap, injection module, or other tuning may be recommended or necessary.

Proper tuning helps prevent the engine from running irregularly or operating outside desired fuel values. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Installation and heat management

Use new exhaust gaskets where prescribed and install all parts without tension. Check the position of lambda sensors, cables, coolant hoses, and belly pan.

After installation, have it checked for exhaust gas leaks and sufficient clearance. A complete system is preferably installed and tuned by an experienced specialist.
