Keep dirt and splashing water away from the rear suspension and underside of your motorcycle
The rear wheel throws water, stones, and road debris towards the swingarm, shock absorber, and underside of the motorcycle while riding. A well-shaped rear fender, also called a hugger, helps shield these parts more effectively. At the same time, the rear fender provides a striking visual upgrade around the rear wheel.
In this collection, you will find model-specific rear fenders for a variety of motorcycles. Many versions are made of carbon and replace the original plastic rear fender. Other products are longer or wider than the original, offering a different look or a larger protected area.
On some motorcycles, the rear fender is integrated with the upper chain guard. This creates a smooth, continuous shape along the rear wheel and swingarm. On other models, the rear fender and chain guard remain separate parts.
Be sure to check which version is offered. A product title stating “including chain guard” means both functions are combined in one part. If this is not mentioned, the original chain guard can be retained or may be needed separately.
A carbon rear fender immediately gives the wheel area a more exclusive appearance. Premium versions from Ilmberger CarbonParts are made from prepreg carbon cured in an autoclave. The part is then carefully finished and coated with a protective lacquer layer.
Depending on the motorcycle and version, matte, satin, and glossy variants are available. For Ducati models, the pattern and finish of Ilmberger CarbonParts match Ducati Performance carbon. Preferably choose the same finish as the other carbon parts on the motorcycle.
Model-specific rear fenders are normally mounted on existing attachment points. Always check after installation that there is sufficient space between the fender and the tire. Pay extra attention when using a different tire size, tire shape, or raised rear end.
