This battery delivers a capacity of 16.5 Ah at the 10-hour rating and a cold cranking current of 240 amps. This gives the MBYZ16H sufficient electrical reserve for powerful engines and motorcycles with extensive electronic equipment. The battery is filled, sealed, and activated, so no battery acid needs to be added before installation.
With AGM technology, the electrolyte is absorbed into glass fiber mats between the lead plates. This prevents the liquid from moving freely through the housing. The battery is fully sealed, leak-resistant, and does not need to be topped up with water or acid during normal use.

Can I always directly replace a YTX14-BS with this battery?
Not automatically. Although the MBYZ16H is listed as an alternative to various YTX14 versions, the battery compartment, available height, and cable routing may differ between motorcycles. Always check the dimensions and application.
