Check out this G&G GP muffler set for the Monster 900ie (2002). We produce the world's only true GP muffler set for this model. These exhausts are welded from stainless steel by hand and are pure craftsmanship. Inside the muffler is high-grade silicon muffling material, protected by a shroud of heat-absorbing metal matting, to ensure a long lifespan. The Italian design of the Monster is complemented and enhanced by these exhausts.
Each set comes standard with removable dB-killers, all necessary mounting materials and all documents.
Ducati, G&G and remapping
Various stories circulate around Ducati regarding the need for a different ECU. For all motorcycles, it is advisable to check that the tuning is still correct whenever a change is made to the intake or exhaust system. This applies even more strongly to Ducati, as most Ducatis are powerful twin-cylinder motorcycles.
G&G exhausts have been developed for use without any necessary modifications. However, it is always advisable to do a run on a Dynojet bench, simply to be sure. A run is inexpensive and provides well-founded information.
We recommend always having the motorcycle tuned. Although this means an additional expense, it provides considerably more riding pleasure than it costs in monetary terms. It also ensures that the maximum is gained from the investment represented by the muffler, resulting in more riding pleasure.
A map specifically written for the motorcycle is always better than a universal computer. No two Ducatis are exactly alike; that difference becomes greater when different exhausts are fitted, and a ‘universal’ ECU only partially solves that problem.
A G&G muffler combined with tuning the original computer is always the best solution, and in most cases considerably cheaper. Better and cheaper, with a deep sound that makes Ducati and G&G a great match.
All G&G exhausts are ready to install upon delivery, plug-and-play, including model-specific link pipes, muffler clamp, all installation parts and a clear step-by-step installation guide in English.
