The BMW S 1000 XR is a German motorcycle built to cover miles. A radial master cylinder changes how the front brake feels at the lever: the piston moves in the same direction as the lever, giving direct, easy-to-modulate control. This Discacciati unit fits a 22 mm (7/8") handlebar. Your bike has twin front discs; the Ø19 mm master cylinder is the right choice for that.
You choose the set-up: with a separate reservoir, or with a reservoir integrated in the body for a clean, compact cockpit. Body and cap come in several colours, so you can match the master cylinder to the rest of your bike.

When fitting, connect the existing line with a suitable banjo bolt and new copper washers. A brake light switch for this master cylinder is available separately. Bleed the system carefully and check that the lever has a firm pressure point before riding.
