The Harley Davidson FLHTCU Electra Glide Classic is an American cruiser that invites a personal build. This Discacciati 4-piston caliper is developed for Harley-Davidson cruisers and replaces the original front caliper on the left-hand side, giving the front end a recognisable Italian finish that suits a carefully built bike.
The body is CNC-machined from aluminium. Harley-Davidson has built many versions over the years, so we only match this caliper to models and years where the fitment is known.
Discacciati Brake Systems designs and manufactures brake components in Italy. The brand has been active in the top classes of racing since 1989 and works with the Politecnico di Milano, the technical university of Milan. That mix of track experience and engineering knowledge shows in the CNC machining and finish of every part.

After fitting, the brake system must be bled carefully. New pads also need a short bedding-in period before they reach full performance: brake gently for the first miles and avoid prolonged hard braking. Then check that the wheel turns freely and the lever position is correct.
