CNC Racing released this slipper clutch to celebrate its collaboration and successes with Carlos Checa, including winning the 2011 WSBK championship.
This clutch comes from the collection of a Carlos Checa fan and is unused. New in the packaging, with no signs of use.
The slipper clutch is a Limited Edition commemorating Althea Racing's success in Superstock 1000 and World Superbike. Althea Racing became world champion in both classes that year, with Carlos Checa as WSBK world champion and Davide Giugliano as STK1000 world champion.
The pressure plate of this clutch is anodized in Ducati red and Althea Racing blue and features the outlines of the circuits where the WSBK races were held. It also bears the Althea logo, as well as Carlos Checa's name and signature. A beautiful collector's item, whether on the motorcycle or displayed in a cabinet.
CNC Racing completely redefines the concept of the slipper clutch. Traditional slipper clutches are distinguished by two methods: ramp-up or ball-clutch, with or without a spider spring. The disadvantage of these models is that they offer limited adjustability and customization, and that the wear parts are a crucial component of the clutch.
CNC Racing completely changed the concept. With this clutch, the ramps can be adjusted as desired and are easy to replace. Disengagement takes place by means of a spring-loaded ball, which is the least susceptible to wear. By adjusting the angle of the ramp and the spring pressure on the ball, the clutch can be fully adapted to the engine's power, the motorcycle's weight, and the rider's weight.
All parts are available separately and can easily be replaced with alternative versions. All components are easy to replace, making the clutch easier to maintain. This high-tech clutch is intended for sporty road use.
