Ducati's open koppeling is synoniem geworden met het merk. Denk je Ducati, dan denk je aan een zichtbaar draaiende koppeling.
Met de komst van de natte koppeling blijft natuurlijk het verlangen de koppeling te zien draaien zoals dit op de modellen met droge koppeling het geval was.

Dit koppelingsdeksel biedt daar uitkomst. Achter het transparante Lexaan venster kun je de koppeling zien draaien, terwijl de goede werking van Ducati's natte koppeling behouden blijft en olie/buitenlucht gescheiden blijven.

Aanpassingen zijn niet nodig, het koppelingsdeksel vervangt het originele deksel zonder aanpassingen. We raden aan om het verwisselen van dit koppelingsdeksel te combineren met een oliewissel, maar vaak is het zelfs mogelijk om dit te doen zonder olie af te tappen. Zet de motor op de zijstandaard en vaak zit de olie dan ver genoeg links-onder in het motorblok om verwisselen mogelijk te maken.

De set wordt compleet geleverd: koppelingsdeksel, lexaan venster en de ring om het venster vast te zetten.
