Wheel Parts, Axle Nuts, and Assembly Accessories

Find specialized parts for the attachment, finishing, and disassembly of motorcycle wheels

Various small but important parts are used around the front and rear wheels. Think of front axle nuts, rear axle nuts, spacers, and special tools for large wheel nuts. These parts ensure the correct attachment, centering, and alignment of the wheel.

  • Front and rear axle nuts for model-specific applications
  • Wheel spacers and distance pieces
  • CNC-machined aluminum parts
  • Special tools for Ducati wheel nuts
  • Wheel accessories from brands including CNC Racing

The products in this collection have various technical functions. A colored axle nut replaces the original fastening part, while a spacer determines the position of the wheel or nut relative to the hub.

Front and Rear Axle Nuts

An axle nut holds the wheel axle or wheel hub with the prescribed clamping force. The thread diameter, thread pitch, wrench size, and contact shape must exactly match the original part.

Also check whether a nut is left- or right-handed and which locking method is used. A similar wrench size does not mean the thread is the same.

CNC-machined Aluminum

CNC Racing offers various axle nuts made of machined aluminum in colors such as black, red, gold, and silver. These parts combine lower weight and technical finishing with a model-specific fit.

When using aluminum nuts, only use the prescribed tightening torque. The torque of an original steel nut should not be applied without verification.

Wheel Spacers and Distance Pieces

A wheel spacer determines the exact position of the wheel, bearing, and hub. A missing, worn, or incorrectly placed spacer can lead to misalignment or unwanted bearing load.

Keep spacers from the left and right sides separate during disassembly. Parts that look almost identical may have different thicknesses or collar shapes.

Wheel Nut Tools

Motorcycles with a single-sided swingarm often use large wheel nuts. Special sockets are available for these, including combined CNC Racing tools for front and rear wheel nuts.

Check the wrench size and tool connection. Use a suitable torque wrench that can safely handle the required tightening torque.

Assembly and Final Check

Clean threads and contact surfaces and use lubricant only when specified by the manufacturer. Assemble all spacers and locking parts in the correct order.

After assembly, check that the wheel rotates freely, brake discs run correctly through the brake calipers, and the chain or belt is properly aligned.
