Reduce rotating and unsprung mass at the front with a model-specific monocoque carbon front wheel
The front wheel plays a central role in steering, braking, and following road irregularities. Weight in the front wheel must not only be accelerated and decelerated but also causes gyroscopic forces during turning. A lighter carbon front wheel can therefore provide a distinctly different steering feel than a comparable weight saving on a static part.

In this collection, you will find individual BST front wheels for various sport and naked bikes. Among others, Star TEK and Diamond TEK versions are available, each design having its own spoke shape and visual character.
Impact of a lighter front wheel
A lower rotating mass can make it easier for the motorcycle to change direction. Especially in quick left-right combinations, less mass needs to be changed in rotational direction.
Also, during acceleration and braking, less rotational mass needs to be accelerated or decelerated. Furthermore, the front suspension has less unsprung weight to control when the wheel moves over irregularities.
Monocoque prepreg carbon
BST builds the structural rim construction from prepreg carbon layers. The fiber direction and layer build-up are determined based on the loads in the rim bed, spokes, and hub area.
The construction is cured under pressure and temperature in an autoclave. Rim bed and spokes form one integrated monocoque carbon construction.
Model-specific brake and axle fitment
The front wheel must fit exactly on the front axle, wheel bearings, spacers, brake discs, and ABS ring. The brake disc offset and mounting points are also model-dependent.
Therefore, choose only the BST version for the exact motorcycle model, generation, and year of manufacture. Similar rim sizes do not mean that the hubs and brake mounts are the same.
Individual front wheel or complete set
An individual carbon front wheel can be ordered as a replacement or as the first step of a complete upgrade. For a fully matched look and weight distribution, it can be combined with the matching BST rear wheel.
When ordering separately, check whether the design, carbon pattern, tint, and finish match an already existing rear wheel.
Twill, Forged, and colored tints
Depending on the BST model, woven Twill carbon and a more marbled Forged carbon structure are available. The clear finish can be glossy, satin, or vary depending on the series.
Colored BST wheels are not anodized. The color is created by a tint in the clear coat, allowing the carbon structure to remain visible.
Installation and documentation
Have tires mounted by a specialist experienced with carbon wheels and using suitable mounting tools. Check the prescribed tightening torque of brake disc bolts and front axle.
BST wheels may have DOT, E-, and JWL approvals depending on the version and are tested according to specified TÜV standards. This does not automatically mean that every wheel has a TÜV, ABE, or E-approval for European road use. Always check the documentation of the specific version.
