At Ilmberger, the fabrics run neatly straight, the seams between Carbon fabrics are barely visible, there are no unattractive black spots in the Carbon, and every effort is made to ensure that the weave pattern flows seamlessly from one fairing part to the next. Ilmberger uses a plastic coating to finish its Carbon parts, protecting them against scratches and UV radiation. This plastic coating is covered with a layer of clear lacquer, which is polished after production for a mirror-smooth high-gloss finish.
