Windscreens for Comfort, Aerodynamics, and Style

Choose a model-specific windscreen that matches your riding position, usage, and desired look

A windscreen influences how the airflow moves around the cockpit and rider. A taller touring windscreen can divert more air away from the upper body and helmet, while a compact sport or flyscreen mainly finishes the cockpit and preserves the original character of the motorcycle.

  • Model-specific windscreens for different types of motorcycles
  • Original size, sport, Racing, and touring versions
  • Options in clear, tinted, and opaque finishes
  • Mounting on existing points for suitable models
  • Windscreens from Ermax, CNC Racing, and Evotech Performance

This collection includes windscreens for sportbikes, naked bikes, adventure motorcycles, touring motorcycles, and scooters. Ermax offers a wide range with various heights, shapes, and colors. CNC Racing focuses on sporty and raised Racing fairing screens, while Evotech Performance provides compact flyscreens for selected naked bikes.

The best choice is not determined by appearance alone. Riding position, body height, speed, helmet, and personal sensitivity to turbulence also play a role.

Original Size as Replacement

An original size windscreen maintains the motorcycle’s original proportions. This is a suitable choice when the standard screen is damaged or when you want to install the same shape in a different tint.

The wind protection generally remains comparable to the standard configuration. Be sure to check that the shape and dimensions exactly match your model and year of manufacture.

Tall Touring Windscreen

A touring windscreen is taller and sometimes wider than the original screen. This allows more air to be directed over or around the rider, which can be more comfortable during longer rides and highway use.

A taller screen does not automatically reduce turbulence for every rider. The airflow strongly depends on seating height, helmet, and adjustment. For adjustable screens, it can be useful to test different positions.

Sport, Racing, and Flyscreens

A sport or Racing windscreen often has a raised curve so the rider can tuck further behind the screen during a sporty riding position. A compact flyscreen on a naked bike offers less complete wind protection but can partially direct airflow around the Dashboard & Instrumentation and chest.

Check whether the screen is intended for public roads, sporty street use, or a specific Racing fairing setup. A fairing screen for track use does not automatically fit the original street fairing.

Color and Light Transmission

Windscreens are available in clear, smoke, lightly tinted, dark tinted, and fully opaque finishes. A dark screen gives a sporty look but can limit visibility through the screen in low light conditions.

Choose a finish that suits the height of the screen and your normal line of sight. With a tall screen, good visibility through the material is more important than with a low screen, where you look completely over it.

Installation Without Stress

Use the original rubbers, spacers, and mounting materials when specified. Tighten the bolts evenly and avoid pulling the screen under tension.

After installation, check the clearance around mirrors, handguards, handlebars, and navigation. Clean the screen with a soft microfiber cloth and a suitable cleaner; aggressive products can dull plastic or cause fine scratches.
