Footpegs for More Grip and Support on the Motorcycle

Replace the original rider or passenger footpegs with a version that suits your riding style and motorcycle

Footpegs form the direct contact point between your legs and the motorcycle. The surface, width, and position determine how much grip and support you experience during braking, accelerating, and standing on the bike. With suitable aftermarket footpegs, you can improve grip and appearance without always replacing the complete brake shift set.

  • Footpegs for rider and passenger
  • Race, Sport, Touring, and offroad versions
  • Model-specific and selected universal solutions
  • Foldable constructions with suitable sets
  • CNC-machined footpegs from CNC Racing

In this collection, you will find compact Race footpegs, wider platform footpegs for Touring and offroad use, and sporty replacements for the original duo footpegs. Always check whether the set is intended for the rider or passenger.

Race Footpegs

Race footpegs have a strongly profiled surface that offers a lot of grip to the motorcycle boot. They are especially suitable for sporty street use and circuit riding, where a fixed and clear foot position is important.

With various model-specific CNC Racing sets, the original footpeg bracket is retained and only the footpeg is replaced.

Touring and Offroad Platforms

A wider platform distributes pressure over a larger part of the sole. This can be comfortable during long rides and provides extra support when standing on the footpegs during offroad use.

A coarser profile offers a lot of grip but can cause more wear on soft boot soles. Choose a version that matches your normal motorcycle clothing and use.

Passenger Footpegs

Passenger footpegs have a different mounting position and load than the rider’s footpegs. Therefore, select a set developed for this purpose and do not use a rider’s footpeg as an improvised passenger peg.

Check whether the original hinge pin, spring, ball, and locking mechanism are reused or supplied with the new set.

Footpeg or Complete Brake Shift Set

Loose footpegs usually do not change the position of the brake and shift pedals. For extensive adjustment of height and position, an adjustable brake shift set is needed.

Choose a complete brake shift set when ergonomics and pedal position need to be changed, and loose footpegs when grip and finish are the main focus.

Installation and Locking

Install all pins, springs, and locking clips in the correct order. Check whether a foldable footpeg returns independently to the normal position after loading.

Before use, test the free space around the brake pedal, shift pedal, and exhaust. Regularly check the fastenings and replace damaged footpegs after a fall.
