Support the muffler with a model-specific bracket and remove unused passenger footpegs where the construction allows
On many motorcycles, the muffler is attached to the right passenger footpeg. When the motorcycle is used as a single-seater only, this large original bracket can remain unnecessarily. A model-specific Exhaust Hanger takes over the attachment of the muffler and gives the rear a cleaner appearance.
In this collection, you will find compact Evotech Performance Exhaust Hangers and more extensive mounting kits. Depending on the motorcycle, only the right dual footpeg is replaced or both passenger footpeg positions are finished.
The right passenger footpeg often has a dual function on many motorcycles: support for the passenger and attachment of the muffler. After removal, a separate exhaust bracket is therefore needed.
A combined set often includes an Exhaust Hanger for the right side and a matching cover plate for the left. Always check which parts are included in the set.
When both dual footpegs are removed, the motorcycle cannot be safely used with a passenger. The Exhaust Hanger is not intended as a footpeg and must not be loaded with passenger weight.
Reinstall the original dual footpegs when the motorcycle is set up again for two persons.
The mounting position of a muffler can change with an aftermarket slip-on or full exhaust system. Not every model-specific hanger fits every exhaust.
Check whether the hanger is designed for the original muffler, a specific aftermarket exhaust, or multiple configurations. Compare the position and diameter of the muffler attachment.
Some specialized Exhaust Hangers are part of a larger rear assembly. One construction can also carry the license plate, lighting, or turn signals.

The exhaust must hang on the hanger without lateral stress. First, loosely place all fasteners and align the muffler before tightening the bolts definitively.
Check the clearance to the swingarm, tire, and fairing, and inspect the hanger again after the first ride.
