The HP Corse Hydroform Short R is much more than just a muffler - it is a piece of pure emotion, shaped in metal. Thanks to an advanced hydroforming process, in which metal is formed under extremely high pressure, flowing lines and refined shapes are created that are impossible with any other production method. The result: a unique, aggressive yet elegant design that perfectly matches the sporty appearance of the Kawasaki Z900 (2025).
Compact, lightweight and stylish
Weighing just 1.14 kg (without link pipe), this slip-on is considerably lighter than the original exhaust system. This not only contributes to a sportier look, but also benefits the handling of your Z900. The compact slash-cut end piece with metal flame grille adds an extra aggressive touch and emphasizes the pure sportiness of this system.
Top quality and finish
The Hydroform Short R is made from high-quality stainless steel and is available with a satin or ceramic black finish. The carbon heat shields are included, as is the laser-engraved HP Corse logo - a mark of authenticity and quality. The slip-on design makes installation simple and fully plug-and-play, without requiring modifications to the original parts.
EURO 5+ approved
Despite its sporty character, this exhaust meets the EURO 5+ standard, making it suitable for use on public roads. Not compatible with the Z900 in the 35kW version.
Frequently asked questions
Does this exhaust fit without modifications?
Yes, the Hydroform Short R is fully plug-and-play and connects directly to the original muffler box of the Kawasaki Z900.
What is the difference between the satin and black finishes?
Both versions are technically identical. The satin version has a shotblasted stainless steel look, while the ceramic black version has a matte black, heat-resistant coating for an even more aggressive appearance.
Does this exhaust affect engine power?
Thanks to the lower weight and improved exhaust flow, the engine may respond slightly faster, but the biggest improvements are in the looks and sound of the Z900.
Is this exhaust legal for road use?
Yes, this slip-on is EURO 5+ homologated and is therefore permitted on public roads within the EU.
Does this exhaust have a removable dB Killer?
Since Euro4 (2017), it is no longer permitted to install a removable dB Killer in an exhaust. This exhaust therefore does not have a (easily) removable dB Killer.
Can the grille at the end be removed?
Yes, you can choose whether to ride with or without the grille at the end of the exhaust. It can be easily and quickly installed or removed with 3 bolts.
