Transport Accessories and Tie-Down Straps for Motorcycles

Secure your motorcycle safely during transport with suitable ratchet straps, handlebar loops, and additional wheel locks

A motorcycle must remain upright during transport and be protected against forward, backward, and sideways movements. This requires multiple attachment points and appropriate transport equipment. In this collection, you will find tie-down straps and additional accessories for transport in a van, trailer, or other suitable vehicle.

  • Ratchet strap sets for securing motorcycles
  • Soft loops for handlebars and clip-ons
  • Front brake lock hooks for additional stability
  • Compact tools for transport and storage
  • Products from CNC Racing and Evotech Performance

The range includes complete CNC Racing ratchet strap sets and individual handlebar loops. Additionally, there are Evotech Performance safety locks that allow the front brake lever to be temporarily held down.

Ratchet Straps for Main Attachment

Ratchet straps are used to pull the motorcycle to fixed and sufficiently strong anchor points. Use multiple straps and ensure the motorcycle is not secured by only one attachment point.

Check the specified load capacity, condition of the straps, hooks, and ratchets before each use. Do not reuse damaged or frayed straps.

Handlebar Loops for Clip-Ons and Handlebars

A soft handlebar loop creates an attachment point without a metal hook coming into direct contact with the handlebar, clip-on, or fairing. The loop is then connected with a suitable tie-down strap.

Check that the handlebars and clip-ons are strong enough for the chosen transport method. Never tighten over brake lines, throttle cables, switches, or reservoirs.

Front Brake Lock as Additional Aid

A front brake lock hook holds the brake lever against the handlebar, limiting the free movement of the front wheel. This can be practical during storage, parking, or transport.

The hook is not a replacement for tie-down straps, a wheel chock, or proper anchor points. The motorcycle must be properly secured even without this brake lock.

Do Not Fully Compress Suspension

Tighten the motorcycle firmly enough to prevent movement, but do not compress the front or rear suspension fully against the stops for an extended period. Leave enough suspension travel to absorb movements of the transport vehicle.

Check whether the Side Stands & Accessories should be used during the chosen transport method. This depends on the wheel chock, floor construction, and attachment direction.

Check Again During the Journey

Check the attachments shortly after departure and then regularly during longer trips. Straps can settle and lose some tension.

Protect paint, carbon, and other vulnerable surfaces from abrasion. Do not let loose ends hit the motorcycle and keep tie-down straps away from hot exhaust parts.
