Replace the standard fuel cap with a model-specific version featuring a lock, quick-release, or complete Racing finish
The fuel cap is located centrally on top of the motorcycle and is used at every refueling. With a CNC-machined or carbon version, you give this visible position a high-quality finish. Depending on the chosen configuration, you retain a lockable closure or opt for a fast, keyless operation.
In this collection, you will find both complete fuel caps and individual components. The modular CNC Racing system consists of a model-specific outer ring or base plate and a separate locking core.
Always check whether the product is delivered complete or if the core must be ordered separately. A fuel cap ring without a TSU01 or TSU02 core cannot close the tank independently.
The TSU01 core contains a lockable lock and comes with keys. This is a suitable choice for street motorcycles where you want to secure the fuel tank against unwanted opening.
The core is combined with a compatible model-specific CNC Racing outer ring. Check whether the chosen flange is suitable for your motorcycle.
The TSU02 core uses a fast mechanical closure without a separate contact key. This provides a clear Racing look and makes the tank quickly accessible during track and workshop use.
A keyless quick-release does not offer the same locking capability as a traditional fuel cap with a lock. Keep this in mind for street use and when the motorcycle is parked unattended.
CNC Racing supplies machined Aluminium outer rings in various designs and anodized colors. Additionally, selected flanges are made with fuel-resistant carbon in matte or glossy finish.
The outer ring must fit exactly to the bolt pattern, tank opening, and venting construction of the motorcycle model. Do not choose solely based on the visible shape.
Tricolore and Pramac Racing fuel caps are offered as striking complete design parts. These combine machined Aluminium, brand details, and a sporty closure in one cohesive design.
Also check with complete versions whether the cap is lockable or uses a quick-release.
Use the supplied or prescribed gaskets and check the sealing surfaces for damage. The tank venting must continue to function correctly after installation.
Check the cap for leaks and fuel odor after the first refueling. Work only in a well-ventilated area and avoid fire, sparks, and contact of fuel with hot engine parts.
