Sprocket Carrier

Sprocket Carriers for Precise and High-Quality Drive

Mount the rear sprocket on a model-specific carrier that fits the hub, mounting, and chain configuration

The sprocket carrier forms the connection between the rear sprocket and the rear wheel hub. The part must accurately transfer the drive torque and correctly position the sprocket relative to the chain. Fit, bearing, and mounting pattern are therefore essential.

  • Model-specific sprocket carriers for Ducati and MV Agusta
  • CNC-machined aluminum constructions
  • Various five- and six-bolt configurations
  • Quick-change versions for selected models
  • Anodized finishes in black, red, and gold

In this collection, you will find CNC Racing sprocket carriers for various single-sided swingarm constructions. Depending on the model, the carrier directly replaces the original flange or is part of a quick-change system with a specific sprocket and matching nut set.

Always check which parts can be combined. An original carrier, aftermarket sprocket, and separate nut set are not automatically interchangeable.

Function of the sprocket carrier

The rear sprocket is attached to the carrier with multiple bolts or studs. The carrier centers the sprocket and transfers the torque to the hub and ultimately the rear wheel.

An incorrect offset or crooked installation causes the chain, front sprocket, and rear sprocket not to align. This can lead to increased wear and an unstable chain run.

Five- or six-bolt version

Ducati uses different mounting patterns depending on the model and generation. Check the number of mounting points, pitch, nut size, and shape of the hub before choosing a sprocket carrier.

The matching rear sprockets and nut sets also differ. Select all parts as one technical system.

Quick-change system

A quick-change carrier makes it easier to replace the rear sprocket on suitable constructions without disassembling the complete hub assembly. This is especially practical when frequently changing sprocket ratios.

Use only sprockets and fasteners designed for the specific quick-change carrier. The term quick-change does not mean that every universal rear sprocket fits.

Bearings and cush-drive

Selected sprocket carriers come with pre-installed bearings. Other versions are mounted on the existing rubber cush-drive elements of the motorcycle.

When installing, check the bearings, spacers, and rubber dampers for wear or play. Worn cush-drive rubbers can cause shocks in the drivetrain and extra movement of the sprocket carrier.

Combining with sprocket and nut set

For certain CNC Racing systems, a specific rear sprocket and matching aluminum or titanium nut set are available. These parts provide a technically and visually complete assembly.

Check chain size, number of teeth, and sprocket flank. A 520 sprocket cannot be combined with a 525 or 530 chain.

Installation and alignment

Tighten the sprocket nuts crosswise and to the prescribed torque. Use the specified locking method and reuse self-locking nuts only when technically permitted.

After installation, check the chain alignment, chain slack, and free rotation of the rear wheel. If in doubt, have work on the hub and drivetrain performed by a specialist.
