Front Sprocket Covers for Protection and a Technical Finish
Replace the standard cover around the front sprocket with a model-specific CNC-machined part
The front sprocket is located on the output shaft of the gearbox and transfers the engine torque via the chain to the rear wheel. Chain grease, sand, and road dirt accumulate around this area. A front sprocket cover partially shields the rotating sprocket and neatly finishes the side of the engine block.
- Model-specific replacement of the original sprocket cover
- CNC-machined from high-quality aluminum
- Anodized finishes in various colors
- Selected models with genuine carbon inlay panel
- High-quality finish by CNC Racing
In this collection, you will find front sprocket covers for various Ducati and MV Agusta models. The covers use the original mounting points where applicable and replace the standard plastic or cast part.
The construction varies per motorcycle. Some versions are open and mechanically shaped, while others cover a larger portion of the front sprocket and surrounding wiring.
CrashProtection around a rotating part
The original front sprocket cover helps prevent clothing, loose objects, or coarse dirt from easily reaching the rotating sprocket. Therefore, do not permanently remove this protection without a technically suitable replacement.
An open aftermarket design must still provide sufficient shielding and clearance. Check that the cover is specifically developed for your motorcycle and sprocket size.
CNC-machined aluminum
CNC Racing manufactures the main structure from machined aluminum. This allows for complex openings, sharp lines, and precise mounting points.
The anodized finish is available in colors such as black, red, and gold. This allows the cover to be combined with oil filler caps, engine covers, and other CNC Racing details.
Versions with carbon detail
Selected MV Agusta covers combine a machined aluminum base with a genuine carbon inlay panel. The carbon forms a visible design detail within the metal construction.
Check whether the panel is an integral part of the cover and which color variants are available. Loose inserts are not automatically available separately.
Space for chain and sprocket
The chain and front sprocket must be able to rotate freely after installation. Take into account the original sprocket size, chain width, and any changes to the final drive ratio.
A sprocket with a different number of teeth may have a different outer diameter. Therefore, check the clearance when the sprocket ratio has been adjusted.
Regular cleaning
A thick layer of chain grease and dirt can build up behind the front sprocket cover. Remove the cover periodically according to the maintenance instructions and clean the area thoroughly.
At the same time, check the front sprocket, locking mechanism, chain, and output shaft for wear or leakage. Always reinstall the cover before using the motorcycle.
