Replace standard plastic line guides with model-specific Carbon or CNC-machined aluminum
Brake lines must be properly routed along the engine and front fork and remain protected from rubbing, dirt, and unwanted movement. A brake line cover or brake line clamp keeps the line in the intended position while also serving as a visible finishing part.
In this collection, you will find various product types. For example, a compact CNC Racing brake line clamp replaces a simple plastic line holder. Larger CNC Racing covers can further shield the brake line and, on certain Ducati models, also include a mounting bracket for the brake fluid reservoir.
The carbon brake line covers from Ilmberger CarbonParts are developed as model-specific replacements for original plastic finishing parts. Depending on the motorcycle model, matte, glossy, and Black Diamond Carbon versions are available.
A brake line clamp primarily functions to hold one or more lines in the correct position. The clamp prevents the line from moving uncontrollably or rubbing against surrounding parts.
A larger cover shields a longer section and also has a more distinct visual function. Therefore, carefully check which original part is being replaced and which section of the line is covered.
A carbon cover fits nicely with other carbon parts around the front fender, tank, and frame. Ilmberger CarbonParts uses model-specifically shaped prepreg carbon that is delivered ready for installation.

Selected CNC Racing covers have an integrated bracket on which an external brake fluid reservoir can be mounted. Check whether the reservoir itself, the fluid hose, and additional mounting materials are included or need to be purchased separately.
The position of the reservoir must allow the fluid to flow to the brake pump without kinks and keep the reservoir accessible for inspection and maintenance.
After installation, the brake line must not be pinched or pulled tight anywhere. Check the full steering angle and front suspension movement at the front.
Install carbon parts without tension and do not tighten aluminum clamps so much that the brake line is deformed. After installation, check the braking performance and regularly inspect the line for wear or leaks.
