The KTM 1290 Super Adventure is an Austrian motorcycle with an outspoken sporty character. A Discacciati caliper gives the front brake a look to match, without changing the bike’s basic set-up. This radial 4-piston caliper has the same 100 mm mounting centres as the original radial mounts and is made for the left-hand fork leg.
It is CNC-machined from solid 7075 aluminium and then anodised. Black and silver are technically identical, so you choose on looks alone. Because the mounting matches the original, no adapters or brackets are needed.
Discacciati Brake Systems designs and manufactures brake components in Italy. The brand has been active in the top classes of racing since 1989 and works with the Politecnico di Milano, the technical university of Milan. That mix of track experience and engineering knowledge shows in the CNC machining and finish of every part.
After fitting, the brake system must be bled carefully. New pads also need a short bedding-in period before they reach full performance: brake gently for the first miles and avoid prolonged hard braking. Then check that the wheel turns freely and the lever position is correct.

Should I replace both sides?
If your bike has twin front discs, we recommend replacing both sides at the same time so left and right respond equally. Both sides are sold separately.
Which colours are available?
