Engine Cover

Engine covers for an exclusive engine finish

Replace or cover standard engine parts with model-specific Carbon that makes an immediate visible difference

The engine forms the technical heart of the motorcycle and is often clearly visible on sportbikes, naked bikes, and adventure motorcycles. Standard plastic finishing parts and simple engine covers do not always match a more exclusively built motorcycle. With a Carbon engine cover, you give this area a high-quality and sporty appearance.

  • Model-specific Carbon finish around the engine
  • Replaces or covers selected original parts
  • Choice of left, right, and separate cover options
  • Matte and glossy Carbon finishes available
  • Versions from Ilmberger CarbonParts, CNC Racing, and Lightech

In this collection, you will find different types of engine covers. Some products replace an original plastic finishing panel on the side of the engine. Other covers are mounted over the existing alternator, clutch, or pick-up cover.

Always check which original part remains. The term engine cover does not automatically mean that the complete oil-containing engine cover is replaced.

A visible Carbon upgrade

An engine cover is mainly chosen for its appearance. The Carbon structure gives a large and technically visible part of the motorcycle more depth and matches nicely with frame covers, heel plates, timing belt covers, and other Carbon parts.

For Ducati models, the Ilmberger CarbonParts versions match the pattern and finish of Ducati Performance Carbon. For a consistent result, choose the same matte, glossy, or Black Diamond Carbon finish as the surrounding parts.

Replacement part or outer cover

A replacement finishing part usually uses the original mounting points and takes the place of a plastic panel. An outer engine cover, on the other hand, sits over an existing metal cover and forms an additional visible layer.

For adhesive versions, the surface must be completely clean, dry, and grease-free. For screwed covers, the supplied or original spacers and bolts must be mounted in the correct position.

No automatic crash protection

A cosmetic Carbon cover is not automatically designed to wear down in case of a slide due to contact with the asphalt. If you are looking for specific crash protection for a clutch, alternator, or crankcase cover, choose a product explicitly designed as an engine or engine cover protector.

Always select the exact motorcycle model, year of manufacture, and the correct mounting side. Install the Carbon without tension and check the clearance to the fairing, brake pedal, gear pedal, and exhaust.
