Motorcycle grips for grip, control, and sporty appearance
Give the handlebar a high-quality finish and choose grips that feel comfortable and controlled in your hand
The grips form the direct contact between you and the motorcycle. You use them during every steering movement, acceleration, and braking action. Good motorcycle grips should therefore not only match the design of the cockpit nicely but also provide sufficient grip and a comfortable shape. In this collection, you will find sporty grip sets for replacing and visually upgrading the original grips.
- Direct contact with the handlebar and throttle control
- Rubber grip parts for a firm and comfortable hold
- Sporty combination of aluminum and rubber
- Anodized finish in various colors
- Grip sets from the Italian specialist CNC Racing
The range mainly consists of grips from CNC Racing. These sets combine milled light metal parts with rubber grip surfaces. This creates a clearly sportier look without the entire grip being made of hard aluminum.
Depending on the version, the set is supplied with a throttle tube and multiple adapters. This makes the set suitable for various applications. Nevertheless, always check the product-specific information, as handlebar diameter, throttle control, and original mounting differ per motorcycle.
Grip and appearance in one upgrade
Motorcycle grips are both functional and aesthetically interesting. The rubber parts determine how the grip feels, while the milled and anodized components add a visible color accent to the cockpit. Black provides a subtle finish, while red, gold, blue, or titanium color can nicely match other CNC parts.
Changing the grip does not automatically alter the motorcycle’s steering behavior. The main benefits lie in the shape, grip, material feel, and appearance. Which version feels most comfortable is also personal and depends, among other things, on hand size, gloves, and riding style.
Check throttle tube and electronic throttle control
The right side of the handlebar is part of the throttle control. Therefore, carefully check which throttle tube, adapters, and mounting parts are needed. On motorcycles with ride-by-wire, the construction may differ from a traditional throttle cable.
Does your motorcycle have original grip heating? Then check in advance whether this can be retained. An aftermarket grip set is not automatically suitable for the original heating elements. Bar-end mirrors, handlebar weights, and hand guards can also affect the installation.
Correct installation without sticking throttle control
Remove old glue residues and thoroughly clean the handlebar and throttle tube. Use only suitable grip glue when prescribed for the chosen set. Do not apply too much glue to prevent it from getting into the throttle control or switches.
After installation, check that the right grip rotates smoothly and returns fully on its own. There must also be enough space between the grip, the switch, and the handlebar weight. Do not use the motorcycle if the throttle control sticks or returns slowly.
