Remove unused passenger footpegs and neatly finish the mounting points with model-specific covers
When you almost always ride alone, the original passenger footpegs often become extra parts that interrupt the clean lines of the motorcycle. With pillion footpeg replacers, also known as pillion footpeg removal kits or cover plates, you can remove the complete pillion footpegs without leaving open mounting points behind.
In this collection, you will find various types of pillion footpeg replacers. Simple versions consist of cover plates, bolts, and washers that close off the mounting points of the removed passenger footpegs. Other sets combine this finish with practical luggage hooks for straps or a cargo net.
For motorcycles where the original right pillion footpeg also supports the exhaust silencer, a separate exhaust support is required. In that case, complete sets from Evotech Performance replace both the left and right passenger footpegs while keeping the exhaust properly mounted.
The version you need depends on your motorcycle’s construction. When the pillion footpegs are used solely for the passenger, two simple cover plates are often sufficient. If the right footpeg also supports the exhaust silencer, this function must be taken over by a model-specific exhaust support.

The distance between mounting points, shape of the subframe, and position of the exhaust vary per motorcycle. A visually similar set does not automatically fit another model or year. Always check the exact application and whether the set is supplied for both sides.

After removing the pillion footpegs, the motorcycle can no longer be safely used with a passenger. If you want to carry someone again later, the original footpegs must be fully and correctly reinstalled.
After installation, check that all bolts are properly tightened and that any exhaust support holds the silencer without tension. Also verify whether mounting materials, spacers, and the exhaust support are included with the chosen set.
