Carbon dashboard covers for an exclusive motorcycle cockpit
Give the visible area around your Dashboard & Instrumentation a high-quality and sporty Carbon finish
The Dashboard & Instrumentation is central in your field of vision during every ride. Yet, the surrounding housing or finish on many motorcycles consists of relatively simple black plastic. With a model-specific Carbon dashboard cover, you transform this functional area into a striking part of the cockpit design.
- Model-specific Carbon finish around the Dashboard & Instrumentation
- Replaces or covers standard plastic parts
- Sporty upgrade visible during every ride
- Clean fit to the shape of the instrument panel
- Beautifully combines with other Carbon cockpit and fairing parts
In this collection, you will find dashboard covers for various Ducati models. The available versions are among others from CNC Racing and are supplied as model-specific Carbon parts. Depending on the motorcycle model, this may be a full dashboard housing, a front cover, or a separate finishing part around the instrument panel.
A dashboard cover should not be confused with a dashboard protector. A cover is mainly chosen for its appearance and replaces or covers the visible housing. A screen protector or protective frame is specifically designed to better protect the actual TFT or LCD screen from damage.
Carbon in a place you constantly see yourself
Many Carbon parts are located on the outside of the motorcycle and are mainly seen when the motorcycle is parked. A dashboard cover is different: this part is directly in the rider’s view. As a result, you experience the upgrade every time you get on the motorcycle.
The Carbon texture gives the cockpit a more technical and exclusive look. For the best result, we recommend choosing the same pattern and the same matte or glossy finish as the other Carbon parts on the motorcycle.
About the original or as a direct replacement
The mounting method varies per dashboard cover. Some versions are placed over the original plastic part and attached with suitable double-sided mounting tape or adhesive. Other products completely replace the original part and use the existing mounting points.
Therefore, always check the product description before you start. For an applied cover, the surface must be completely clean, dry, and grease-free. Check the fit carefully before tape or glue makes permanent contact. For a replacement part, connectors, cables, and the instrument panel must be reinstalled without tension.
Fit without obstructing the view
A well-fitting dashboard cover closely follows the lines of the instrument panel and must not cover indicator lights, buttons, or parts of the screen. Always select the exact motorcycle model, version, and year of manufacture.
Also check the combination with a windscreen, navigation mount, and other cockpit accessories. Especially around compact sport motorcycle cockpits, the available space is limited. After installation, the handlebars and all cables must be able to move freely, and all Dashboard & Instrumentation information must remain clearly visible.
