Dashboard CrashProtection for the TFT and LCD screen of your motorcycle
Protect the valuable display against scratches, dirt, and minor damage during daily use
The dashboard is one of the most important and visible parts of a modern motorcycle. Speed, RPM, navigation, riding modes, and warning messages are increasingly displayed on a single TFT or LCD screen. A damaged display is not only annoying but can also be costly to repair. With a model-specific dashboard protector, you add an extra layer of protection.
- Helps prevent scratches and wear marks on the dashboard
- Model-specific shape for the respective TFT or LCD screen
- Choice of transparent screen protectors and protective frames
- Anti-glare versions for less disturbing reflections
- Protection without covering important dashboard information
In this collection, you will find different types of dashboard CrashProtection. Thin screen protectors are applied directly to the display and protect the surface against minor scratches, dust, and wear marks. Depending on the set, you can choose a clear version or an anti-glare film that helps reduce reflections.
Additionally, there are sturdier dashboard protectors from CNC Racing. These form a protective frame around the instrument panel and may include a transparent polycarbonate part depending on the version. This type of protector is distinctly different from a decorative dashboard cover.
Screen protector or full protective frame
A screen protector is especially suitable when you want to protect the display surface without changing the shape of the dashboard. The film is thin and hardly noticeable after correct installation. A transparent version preserves the original image, while anti-glare film is particularly useful when reflections hinder readability.
A protective frame offers a more robust construction around the dashboard. Depending on the product, this type of CrashProtection can help prevent the display from being directly hit by light stone chips, objects, or contact during maintenance and transport. However, no protector can guarantee that the dashboard remains undamaged in a heavy fall or impact.
Dust-free and precise application
A screen protector must be applied to a completely clean and grease-free display. Remaining dust particles cause visible air bubbles and can remain under the film after installation. Therefore, work in a clean environment and avoid touching the adhesive side with your fingers.
Carefully align the protector first before fully adhering it. Gently press air out from the center toward the edges. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents that can damage the original coating or plastic layer of the dashboard.
Always choose the right dashboard shape
The dimensions and curves of dashboards vary by motorcycle model, version, and year of manufacture. A protector that differs by only a few millimeters can cover sensors, edges, or parts of the screen. Always select the set specifically listed for your motorcycle.
When using a protective frame, also check whether the part can be combined with other accessories. A navigation mount, windshield, fairing part, or dashboard cover may use the same mounting points or available space. Always follow the product-specific instructions during installation.
