The single-sided swingarm is one of the defining features of the Pikes Peak and V4 RS. Finishing this section with carbon further emphasizes its sporty construction. The matt finish clearly reveals the carbon weave without the strong reflections of a high-gloss finish.

The integrated chain guard shields the upper section of the chain and helps limit the spread of chain grease and road dirt toward the surrounding components. The swingarm cover also provides light additional protection against dirt, stone chips and superficial signs of use.

Cover and chain guard in one piece

This product combines swingarm coverage with a chain guard. You therefore receive no separate, universal parts that need to be aligned with each other individually. The shape follows the original swingarm construction and neatly matches the line of the rear mudguard and rear wheel.

Specifically for Pikes Peak and V4 RS

The cover was developed for the Multistrada V4 versions with the corresponding single-sided swingarm. It is suitable for both the earlier and updated generations of the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and for all model years of the Multistrada V4 RS.

The part is not intended for the regular Multistrada V4 and V4S with a different swingarm construction.

Autoclave-cured Prepreg carbon

The swingarm cover is made from Prepreg carbon. The carbon weave is pre-impregnated with a precisely measured amount of resin. The individual layers are carefully built up and then cured in an autoclave under controlled pressure and temperature.

The surface receives a protective coating, multilayer UV protection and a satin matt clear finish. The carbon pattern and finish match the carbon components from Ducati Performance.

Light protection, not crash protection

The carbon cover helps protect the covered parts against dirt, light stone chips and superficial damage. However, the part was not developed as a heavy-duty swingarm or crash protector. In the event of a hard impact, both the carbon and the underlying swingarm may be damaged.
