Prepreg carbon from the autoclave
The handguard is manufactured from specially produced Prepreg carbon. With this material, the carbon weave is pre-impregnated with a precisely controlled amount of resin. The individual layers are carefully built up and then cured under pressure and heat in an autoclave.
The surface is given a protective coating against UV radiation and weathering. The matt finish keeps the carbon weave clearly visible without the strong reflections of high-gloss carbon.
Mounted using the original mounting points
The handguard is supplied ready for installation and uses the original mounting points. As a result, no drilling, sawing, or other permanent modifications to the handlebars are required.
The carbon handguard is intended to provide protection from wind and weather. It is not a heavy-duty crash or brake-lever guard. In the event of a fall, the carbon may be damaged, and damage to the brake lever or handlebar assembly cannot be ruled out.
