The Rear Mudguard is located directly above the rear wheel and forms a striking part of the single-sided swingarm. By making this section from carbon, the sporty character of the Pikes Peak and V4 RS is further emphasized. The continuous carbon structure creates a calm and refined appearance around the rear wheel, swingarm and brake line.

In addition to the visual upgrade, the mudguard helps limit water, road dirt and small stones thrown up by the rear wheel. The integrated brake line cover also shields part of the brake line and provides a neater finish along the swingarm. The Rear Mudguard is made from Prepreg carbon. With this material, the carbon fabric is pre-impregnated with a precisely measured amount of resin. The various layers are carefully assembled and then cured in an autoclave under controlled pressure and temperature.

This production method results in a lightweight, rigid and dimensionally stable construction with a uniform fiber structure. The surface receives a protective coating, multi-layer UV protection and a matt clear finish that matches the carbon components from Ducati Performance.

Mounted via the original mounting points

The Rear Mudguard is supplied ready for installation and uses the motorcycle's existing mounting points. This means no drilling, cutting or other permanent modifications to the swingarm are required.
