We believe so! The Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kit (Race) for the Yamaha MT-10 replaces the OEM handlebar ends bringing two clear benefits to the motorcycle’s handlebars. Firstly, the aerodynamic aluminium lever protector shapes around the brake lever, aiming to block unexpected interference whilst riding. Such lever protection is deemed so important in the UK that brake protection is an essential requirement for racing or track days. Secondly, the integrated Race bar end weight, and matching clutch side Evotech Bar End Weight, is compact and streamlined, ideal for racing and short rides. Produced from stainless steel, each handlebar end is greater in weight over the OEM parts, reducing high-frequency vibrations for a more comfortable grip on the handlebars.
Note: When fitting Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kit, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycles throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Brake Lever Protectors are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
