When the original motorcycle is equipped with incandescent-bulb turn signals, the lower power consumption of LED turn signals may cause the flash rate to become too high or trigger an error message.
On motorcycles with a separate turn-signal relay, a load-independent electronic relay is generally the neatest solution. When the flash rate is controlled by the Dashboard & Instrumentation or a central control unit, a suitable resistor kit may be required. If in doubt, have the appropriate solution for your motorcycle checked beforehand.
